We are happy that Casa Nirvana was created to be in service to, and to contribute to, the unity, joy and wellbeing of our collective community rather than as a business venture. As much as possible, we use the produce from local farmers and suppliers who offer high quality products such as meats and vegetables, goat cheese, honey and bread.
At Casa Nirvana, we are also environmentally conscientious and endeavour to keep our waste to the minimum. Much attention is given to our environmental impact. Therefore, we appreciate and make use of the government’s initiative of recycling waste efficiently. In keeping with Moojibaba’s guidance, we also highly value and enjoy the ethics and practicality of reusing and recycling wherever and whenever possible. In this spirit, around seventy percent of our furniture is sourced from charity shops and second-hand markets, both locally and abroad. In fact, much of the creative work carried out at Casa Nirvana was done by ourselves and local craftsmen, including the building of furniture.
We endeavour to continue supporting the local community in whichever way we can, guided by the experience and advice of our local mayor and other wise voices from the community whom we would like to thank for their generosity, support and blessings over the years.
